Ready, Set, Ascend 2024 Conference
Through collaboration with the Ascend student chapters, they bring to you this year’s theme, “ACCELERATE NOW.” Ascend is bringing together their signature mix of leaders to bring insights on a variety of topics ranging across current events, diversity and inclusion, allyship, leadership, and more.
During the conference, you’ll learn from esteemed professionals on how to stay relevant while strengthening your understanding of various prominent industries, including finance, accounting, consulting, IT and applications of STEM in business. You’ll have the opportunity to network with a variety of industry professionals, build strong connections, and make long-lasting impressions. There will be a favourable 4:1 ratio of students to representatives for roundtable mentoring and networking. Students of all years and programs are welcome!
You'll enjoy a variety of hors d'oeuvres and refreshments as you mingle with fellow attendees and engage in conversations about your professional aspirations and challenges. You'll also have the chance to meet with representatives from Ascend sponsors including Google, RBC, TD, Fasken and more!

ACE SFU's Invitational Case Competition and Networking event is a local case competition hosted for all SFU students to attend. Throughout the event, there will be a deliberation and presentation, as well as workshops from firms including EY.

HRSA, Spring Soirée x Envision 2024
Spring Soirée x Envision 2024 (SSXE 2024) is hosted by the SFU Human Resources Student Association (HRSA) where undergraduate students are able to network with professionals and compete in an intermediate case competition.
Spring Soirée will be happening on March 10, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm where students and guest professionals will have the chance to connect and share insights about the Human Resources industry. We will be hosting a in-person networking event and an case competition to welcome undergraduate students from all schools and faculties in the Lower Mainland!
Envision will be hosted on March 16, 2024 from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. All SFU undergraduate students will have the opportunity to showcase their analytical and presentation skills in front of guest judges and the client company.
Spring Soirée venue will be announced at a later date. Envision will be held at the SFU Harbour Center.
