BASS Mentorship Program

TThe BASS Mentorship Program (BMP) is a platform designed to enable incoming first year students to receive mentorship from senior student leaders and for senior students to be able to share their experiences with younger students. Our mission is to help first-year students navigate their transition into university, become exposed to all the exciting opportunities that the Beedie community has to offer, and to allow them to build long-lasting connections within this community.

Mentored in a two to one ratio of mentees to mentors, our first-year students will learn to challenge themselves and grow as business students in a safe environment.

Over a period of four months, BMP will provide an opportunity for mentors to share practical advice and personal experiences, helping to guide mentees in achieving their own idea of success. This will allow first years to develop themselves professionally, while having the tools to make informed decisions during their time at the Beedie School of Business.

Our Four Pillar Events

First Steps The first chance mentees have to meet their mentor and build relationships with other first year students and senior Beedie students through fun activities and a cheer-off between the 5 houses.
